How It Works
- Monthly Book Discussions: We meet via Zoom every month to discuss a selected banned book. Our conversations focus not only on the literary merits of each work but also on the real-world issues it highlights.
- Activism Focus: Together, we’ll explore ways to create meaningful change inspired by the themes we’ve read about. Whether it's advocating for freedom of speech, supporting human rights, or organizing community events, we’re committed to turning our reflections into action.
- Activism Guide Provided: Each book comes with a custom Activism Guide, packed with resources, action steps, and ideas to help you make an impact.
Our First Meeting
- Date: January 30, 2025 @ 7:00 PM Eastern Time
- Book: The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood
- Focus: Discuss the book’s relevance to today’s fight for women’s rights and freedoms and develop actionable steps to support these causes.
